David Livingstone (1813-1873) - English explorer of Africa.
Made several trips inland areas of Southern and Central Africa. David Livingstone explored the upper reaches of the Zambezi River. The first of the researchers crossed Africa from the Atlantic coast to the shores of the Indian Ocean. David Livingstone explored the Kalahari trough, opened the Victoria Falls. As a result, studies of David Livingstone, most of Africa has been mapped.
