A - Hello. How are you?
B - Hello. I am fine. Today I want to talk with you about the museum.
A - Ok. This is interesting topic .Many people visit museums. Why do people go to museums and galleries?
B - Museums and galleries serve as a bridge between people and places they visit. Every place has its own representative products such as handicrafts. People can have access to a wonderful collection of such things in a museum. What do you think?
A - I agree with you, but I would like to complement your opinion. A primary role of museums is to engage and educate the community. Museums and galleries inspire interest in an area of study. Which famous museums do you know?
B - I have heard of many museums. For example the Louvre in Paris, that is one of the world’s largest and most visited art museums in the world or the Egyptian Museum in Cairo. Unfortunately I had never been there. Which of museums have you visited?
A - I visited the National Art Museum of Ukraine in Kiev, Kharkov Historical Museum and many museums and exhibitions that passed in our area.
B - Exposition of which museums would you like to see?
A - I would you like to see the Museum of Modern Art , located in New York City. It contains the best collection of modern masterpieces world-wide.
B - It is very interesting. How do you think, what makes people create works of art and why do people look at art?
A - I think art is an advanced form of communication and it's probably the easiest way to produce new ideas. So people look at art in museums and make create works. How do you think, what makes people go to see them in museums and other places?
B - I can give a few reasons, one of them is that museum is a leisure experience; it’s something we choose to do outside of work and an activity that we take part in outside our domestic essentials.
A - I agree. Thanks for the interesting discussion. Goodbye!
B - Goodbye!
