Westminster Bridge (born Westminster Bridge) - arched bridge over the River Thames in London, joining Westminster and Lambeth.

Modern bridge built in 1862, designed by Thomas Page, replacing the old bridge, built in 1740 and opened in 1750. [1] [2] The bridge has six poles and seven arches, the largest number of modern bridges of London. [3] bridge painted green, symbolizing the color of seats in the House of Commons.
