Last month I want on my holiday to italy with my friend.We went dy boat and car. We were there for three weeks and we stayed in youth hostels.We had a very good time.We lay on the beach , sunbathed and read books.We visited a lot of historical places.The wather was great and the food was fantastic.
But on the last day our car brok down.Wet did not speak Italian and we neded to get to Venice to meet our friends there.Luckily,we met another guy from England ,David who was very fiendly.He had a car and took us to Rome to get the train to Venice.
When we arrived at the station,David said,"Don*t worry.I speak a little Italian ."He ren to the ticket office and bought us two tickets.He asked the ticket collector in Italian.,"Excuse me!Which platform for Venice?" "Platform 6",the man answered,"But hurry!It leaves in two minutes".
We rushed to platform 6 and got on the train.We sayed goodbye and thank you to David.He wished us a good trip.The train left ,and we started to talk to a tourist sitting next to us ;"What time do we arrive in Venice ?we asked."Venice ?"he said ."I think you have a problem.This train doesn*t go to Venice .It goes to Zurich!"
